A holiday should be a time to relax and enjoy yourself, but accidents and illnesses can and do happen. If your holiday accident or illness was caused by the negligence of a hotel, tour operator, transport provider, or another party, you may be able to claim compensation.

Under the Package Travel Regulations, tour operators have a duty of care to their customers throughout the holiday. If you booked a package holiday, your tour operator may be liable for accidents that occur, even if the negligence was on the part of a local supplier.
